Dodjela ovogodišnjih, 75. Zlatnih globusa je iza nas, a večer ispunjenu sjajem i nagradama obilježili su filmovi iz naslova. Odnijeli su one najprestižnije nagrade u kategorijama za najbolju Dramu, odnosno Komediju/Mjuzikl, a osim toga uspjeli su pokupiti još koju nagradu. James Franco trijumfirao je kao najbolji glumac u kategoriji Komedije/Mjuzikla i time definitivno bacio svoju rukavicu za Oscara kojeg će očito morati preoteti Garyju Oldmanu koji je za svoju ulogu Winstona Churchilla pokupio kipić za najbolju mušku ulogu u Drami. Na drugoj strani spektra nagrade za najbolje glumice otišle su u ruke glumicama koje su predvodile filmove večeri pa su tako Frances McDormand i Saoirse Ronan potvrdile veliku godinu za žene u svijetu filma. Najbolji režiser je Guillermo del Toro za svoj “The Shape of Water”, a Martin McDonaugh dobio je nagradu za najbolji scenarij za “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”. Kod TV nagrada globusi su sad već standardno većinski otišli u ruke novopečenih serija pa su tako kao pobjednici večeri izašle serije “Big Little Lies”, “The Handmaid’s Tale” i “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”.
